concept:

A direct translation of the Turkish word "Karabasan" will be "sleep paralyses"; a phenomenon caused by extreme psychological stress. But on the cultural aspect, it represents more then that. The guilt and burden of sins, embodying of consciousness of past sins and crimes that sits on your chest while you sleep.

Aimed to be a Turkish superhero at first, Karabasan turned out to be a dark mystical/spiritual being.

storyline:

The limited series containing the very first story arc called "Prophecy".

An evil minded archaeologist wakes a ancient spell, summoning lost damned souls called "the children of Struilimiu" in order to fulfill a prophecy that will let him rule the world. This action calls a reaction and it is the coming of "Karabasan", a dark force of vengeance. And the fight begins.

Second issue's cover was inked by legendary Bill Sienkiewicz . Also Famous Italian-Turkish author Giovanni Scognamillo took part as himself on this storyline.
